In creating Solis, designer Carmine Deganello set out to engage with light in its archetypal form: the sun’s rays. The resulting piece is a poetic interplay of light and shadow, casting shimmering rays and radiating patterns across a space. The effect is a sense of weightlessness— and a redefined environment that invites a new kind of relationship with the light source. Now reimagined for ceiling application, Solis Flush transforms the signature elegance of the original into a more integrated, architectural presence. Its laser-cut polyester shade, suspended in tension between 2 polished steel rings, now merges seamlessly with the ceiling plane —casting both direct and diffused light that brings warmth, texture, and sculptural presence to the space below.
